Are there any practitioners in or around Portland Oregon? My family member seems destined to stay in a long term hospital because they cannot engage in treatment. I have bought the book (I am not sick…) to do what I can, but some of the approaches/talk that is used by some providers doesn’t seem helpful, and they tend to give up on this person. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Contact Liz Caruthers who is the Executive Director of the Mental Illness Fellowship of Victoria and John Alan, M.D., Ph.D. Director of Psychiatric Services Townsville Hospital, Queensland. They should be able to direct you to LEAP trained/familiar therapists.
